Andrea's House Is Your Safe Haven
The mission of the Andrea’s House Staff is to empower and bring hope to women recovering from the disease of addiction. We strive to encourage our women and their children with strength, power, inspiration, and knowledge that come from our Savior Jesus Christ. We aspire to honor God’s symbol and covenant, the rainbow, to all his people, by bringing the message of hope to all, no matter race, ethnicity, religious denomination or lack thereof.

Meet Carleah Summers
Carleah Summers founded Andrea’s House: Transitional Living for Women and Children in Frederick, MD, in March 2019, turning her deep faith and life journey into a transformative mission. Guided by God's promise and her unwavering belief in redemption, Carleah envisioned Andrea's House as a beacon of hope for women recovering from substance use disorders—a place where they can heal, grow, and thrive alongside their children in a safe, supportive environment.
With extensive knowledge, a robust education, and years of hands-on experience in the addiction and recovery field, Carleah brings a unique blend of professional expertise and compassion to Andrea’s House. Her approach is holistic, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery, and it’s deeply personal, drawing from her own experiences as a mother in long-term recovery. Carleah understands the courage it takes to start anew, and she is dedicated to providing every woman who enters Andrea’s House with the tools, guidance, and encouragement needed to build a better future.
More than just a program, Andrea’s House is a community—a place where women can rediscover their purpose, regain their confidence, and develop essential life skills in an atmosphere filled with hope and understanding. Carleah’s vision is to empower each woman to reclaim her strength, knowing she is supported every step of the way.
